  • Drove communications strategy to keep 151 Utah charter schools informed across three key areas — advocacy, training, and technical support — providing media expertise spanning website, branding, video, and graphic design.
  • Advocated for school choice and charter schools statewide, improving charter school engagement during the 2026 Utah legislative session. Engaged 44% of charter schools in year one, receiving 155 responses on legislative proposals. Tracked 67 bills, co-hosted legislative review sessions alongside the executive director, and welcomed 1,000 attendees to Charter Day on the Hill. Organized post-session legislative update events to connect the community to policy impact.
  • Supported the Charter School Program (CSP) grant program, promoting and assisting subgrant awards. Execute multi-media campaigns driving widespread engagement, including social media (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube), free KSL Noon News coverage, and a KSL.com article that drew 65 public comments (2026).
  • Co-produced videos with Dreamstock Media telling charter school stories — from alumni to staff excelling in administration, teaching, and volunteer work. Produced 20 to date (2025–2026).
  • Supported charter schools with general communications, crisis communications, and marketing best practices to boost student enrollment and community impact. Mentored two communications professionals at the 2026 Annual Charter School Conference.
  • Secured additional funding through team collaboration. Secured a grant through National School Choice Foundation ($30K) and marketing budget of ($80K) from the Daniels fund to execute market research, promotion and events.

Utah’s Own Program Manager

  • Recruited eligible companies to join the state program to increase membership by 500 percent; as well as maintain a retention rate greater than 85 percent.
  • Created and implemented integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, paid media, PR, email, partnerships and events to reach more than 2.5 million consumers annually.
  • Organized campaigns to connect members with business retailers to boost local food sales including Nicholas & Company, Associated Foods and community farmers markets.
  • Developed and design content for consumer email campaigns and monthly membership bulletin.
  • Managed Utah’s Own annual brand development grant of $10,000 to assist companies with local branding, as well as farmers market sponsorship of $20,000.
